I am a certified residential real estate appraiser in the Acadiana area. In 2019, I achieved my SRA Designation with the Appraisal Institute.
Currently, I am the Congressional District Representative for the Louisiana Real Estate Appraisal Coalition as well as the Treasurer. I have also served on the Nominating Committee for the Louisiana Chapter of the Appraisal Institute.
I work in the parishes of Lafayette, Iberia, Vermilion, St. Landry, and St. Martin. I offer appraisal services to lenders, agents, and individuals for home purchases, refinancing, and pre-listings. These services can include pre-listing house measurements and/or appraisals, estate appraisals, and market analysis.
I have experience appraising a wide variety of properties including detached single-family homes, townhouses, condominiums, duplexes, triplexes, four-plexes, manufactured homes, and vacant land.
Mike Minvielle is a real estate appraiser in training under the guidance of Lane Duplechin, SRA. He is in the process of completing required coursework through the Appraisal Institute, recognized as the world’s leading organization of professional real estate appraisers.
Originally from New Iberia, Louisiana, Mike graduated from Catholic High School (NI) in 1999. He furthered his education at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, graduating in the Fall of 2003 with a degree in Business Administration.
Prior to joining Duplechin Appraisals, Mike accumulated nearly fifteen years of experience in the banking industry, his primary focus being in the mortgage sector. His knowledge of how the appraisal process works in relation to mortgage lending adds a unique perspective that will be beneficial as he works toward becoming a certified residential real estate appraiser.
